What does the result mean?
- This only checks the regional Australia list. It does not tell you whether your work counts: the sector, your visa, the days and your paperwork matter too.
- UK passport holders: since 1 July 2024 they do not need specified work for a second or third visa, according to the sources we used.
- Other lists: tourism and hospitality uses northern Australia, remote and very remote areas, and a few postcodes. Disaster recovery has its own areas. Some subclass 462 sectors only count in northern Australia.
- Date: these lists are the compilations of 5 April 2025. We could not confirm whether there is a later version.
- Ballot: a ballot has been announced for the second and third visa, but it is not law yet. What is known
